Service That’s Built In

Culture at ValorTech is a part of how we operate. One of our most unique and meaningful benefits is Service PTO: paid time off for employees to volunteer at a nonprofit or community cause of their choice.

Mentoring local youth. Serving at a food bank. Supporting veterans. However our people choose to give back, we honor that time—and then follow it with a financial donation to the organization in their name. Because community work should be personal, visible, and supported.

As a veteran-owned company, we know what service looks like—and how it should be honored. When a ValorTech team member is called to active duty:

We cover the gap between military pay and their full salary.

We maintain their health insurance throughout deployment.

And if their family needs help at home—painting a room, building a ramp, anything—we activate a trusted network of teammates and partners to step in.

This isn’t policy for us. It’s responsibility.

Through ValorCares, we:

Support youth programs that connect students—especially non-traditional and at-risk youth—to real career pathways in tech.

Fund and shape education programs like the Inspire initiative, helping build out high school cybersecurity programs across Wisconsin.

Offer internships, mentorships, and hands-on experience for high schoolers interested in STEM and security careers.
